FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to screw drives with self-aligning nut and it can be used, particularly, in loaded drives of screw hoists. Proposed screw mechanism contains lead screw, nut with four semispherical holes, balls, getting in said holes, cover with four mating slots-semiholes for accommodating free halves of balls projecting from nut, movable part in form of tube with flange to which cover is connected by bolts. Movable part is provided with separate device excluding turning of flange of movable part when moving along lead screw. EFFECT: improved reliability in service. 2 dwg
