FIELD: machine tool industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the machine tool industry; it is intended for processing of a hard flat surface, when performing art or decorative works. A magnetic impact engraving head contains a case, in which, between poles of a magnetic circuit, equipped with electromagnets, a core with an engraving needle and permanent magnets is movably installed, wherein the core is placed in a gap between poles of magnetic circuit (4) and between antifriction guiding linings, and, from the side of the engraving needle, it is connected to the case by dust-collecting membrane made of flexible elastic material, while permanent magnets (6) are installed on the core, poles of which are directed in opposite sides, which contributes to synchronization of oscillations of electric and mechanical parts of the engraving head and allows for increase in reaction to single pulses.

EFFECT: obtaining a magnetic impact head for processing of surfaces.
