FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding, namely to a propulsion device, and can be used in water transport to equip small-sized light and medium-sized floating craft. Boat propeller with a fin contains upper and lower support plates mounted on racks. A drive motor is placed on the upper support plate, on the output shaft of which a crankshaft is installed, which rotates around the axis of the output shaft. A connecting rod is pivotally mounted on the crankshaft, making oscillatory movements, at the end of which a rocker arm is pivotally fixed, transmitting oscillatory movements to the transmission shaft passing down through the lower support plate and installed in the bearing support. At the end of the transmission shaft, a flat trapezoidal fin is vertically fixed, which performs a reciprocating rotational movement.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the device while simplifying its design, as well as improving the maintainability of the device.
