FIELD: drying.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drying equipment, namely, to dryers with a rotating drum. Drying drum is intended for drying and sorting crushed coal and is installed in the coking process line. The drying drum constitutes a rotating drum heated by conduction. A hollow cylinder is installed in the drying drum coaxially with the rotating drum, with a perforation in the initial section, interconnected by a perforated spiral tape equipped with perforated blades. The air-vapour mixture is discharged through the jacket of the loading chute removed outside of the body of the dryer. The dried product is classified in a conical sieve due to the windows on the surface thereof covered with a mesh with holes of different diameters.
EFFECT: creation of a dryer suitable for application in the coking.
