The method for control of harmful insects or ticks provides for use of a composition containing 3-endo-[2-propoxy-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenoxy]-9-[5-(trifluoromethyl)-2-pyridyloxy]-9-azabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane in a combination with an insecticide or acaricide active ingredient. The mass ratio of 3-endo-[2-propoxy-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenoxy]-9-[5-(trifluoromethyl)-2-pyridyloxy]-9-azabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane to the insecticide or acaricide active ingredient is from 200/1 to 1/200. As the insecticide or acaricide active ingredient, tebufenpyrad, hexythiazox, phenpiroximate, propargit, tolfenpirad, abamectin, ethoxazole, thiodicarb, Spinosad, isoxation, acetamiprid, fipronil, tralomethrin, BT agent, buprofesin, cyromazine, tebufenozide, flubendifmid, pyridalil, lufenuron, flonicamide, chlorphenapir, indoxacarb, emamectin benzoate, or pyridabene are used.

EFFECT: proposed method for control of harmful insects or ticks provides for effective impact on a pest, while using a low dose of active components without damage to security of a non-target object.
