FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the mining industry to control the destruction of sections of an array of rocks when their stress-strain state changes. The method consists in recording electromagnetic radiation (EMR) signals in time, measuring their amplitudes and determining the spectral frequency of the signal, finding areas of the array subject to destruction. EMR signals are measured along the mine workings simultaneously throughout the controlled area. Additionally, the length of the sections where the amplitude of the EMR signal exceeds the amplitude value of the background level five or more times and frequencies above 800 kHz are present in the signal spectrum. Zones of the controlled area, the length of which is more than 60 m, are considered susceptible to destruction.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy and reliability of the prediction of rock destruction.
