FIELD: imaging technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of imaging technology and, in particular, relates to a method for detecting electrical parameters, a chip, a consumable element and an imaging device. The method for detecting electrical parameters includes configuring the detection pins of the installation (SDA1 and SCL1) to be at a high level using the imaging control unit, controlling the voltages of the detection terminals of the installation (SDA2 and SCL2) to be at a low level using the chip control unit so that a current loop is formed between the imaging device and the chip, and determination by means of the imaging device whether the imaging device is in the required contact with the chip, according to the electrical parameter of the current loop.
EFFECT: providing the ability to determine whether the terminals on the side of the chip and the pins on the side of the main body of the imaging device are in poor contact.
