FIELD: frequency converting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of converting the industrial frequency of alternating current into an increased frequency. The axial frequency converter contains a housing, a synchronous motor and an asynchronous frequency converter mounted on the same shaft. The armature winding of a synchronous motor and the rotor winding of an asynchronous frequency converter are connected to each other in reverse sequence. The magnetic circuits of the synchronous motor and the asynchronous frequency converter are made axial, and the output voltage corrector, starting resistance and switching relay of the main excitation winding of the synchronous motor are additionally installed in the housing. In the grooves of the axial magnetic circuit of the inductor of the synchronous motor, a damper short-circuited winding and an additional excitation winding are additionally laid. Additionally, a magnetic shunt is installed, containing corrective and compounding windings of the asynchronous frequency converter, as well as an output voltage and frequency meter and a rectifier.
EFFECT: improvement of weight and size indicators, increase in energy efficiency, increase in reliability and rigidity of the structure.
