The excitation system includes a synchronous generator 1 having an armature winding 2 and an inductor winding 3, which is connected to the output of the first rectifier 4, a summing transformer 5 having four windings: primary current 6; primary voltage winding 7; secondary winding 8 and control winding 9, voltage corrector 10, external DC power source 11, first electronic key 12, current transformer 13, shunt 14, second rectifier 15, analog-to-digital converter (ADC) 16, first 17 and second 18 memory registers, pulse distributor 19, pulse generator 20 of stable frequency, subtractor 21, setting register 22, first numerical comparator 23, first differentiator 24, RS trigger 25, second differentiator 26, first logic element OR 27, bus START 28, shaping unit-limiter 29, inverter 30, first AND 31, second 32 and third 33 AND logic elements, second logic gate OR 34, third 35, fourth 36 and fifth 37 differentiators, second 38, third 39, fourth 40, fifth 41 and sixth 42 electronic keys, second RS trigger 43, second 44 and third 45 numerical comparators, delay element 46, the third 47 and fourth 48 memory registers, resistor 49, transistor 50, digital-to-analog converter (DAC) 51 and the fourth logic element AND 52. The system provides a forced change of excitation during discharge and rise of the load and eliminates overshoot.

EFFECT: expanding the functionality by increasing the boost capacity when the load is discharged.
