FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electroplating and can be used to restore worn steel parts of machines and mechanisms. Method includes subjecting the restored part to anodic treatment conducted in an iron-plating electrolyte containing salts of ferrous iron, sulphuric and hydrochloric acids, potassium iodide, and 40 to 80 kg/m3 disperse particles of electrocorundum with a size of 100 to 300 mcm, at an anode current density of 15 to 25 kA/m2, a heterophase flow rate of the iron-plating electrolyte of 1.5 to 2.5 m/s; and applying a galvanic iron coating.
EFFECT: increase in the adhesion of coatings.
