FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroplating and can be used for recovery of worn-out steel parts. Method involves placing a recoverable part and a soluble anode in an electrolytic cell, connecting them to a current source with density of more than 1 kA/dm2, pumping through electrolytic cell of electrolyte containing solid dispersed particles with size of 100–300 mcm, at heterophase flow rate of 9–11 m/s, wherein solid dispersed particles with size of 1–10 mcm are additionally introduced into electrolyte, wherein electrolyte containing sulfuric acid is used, with following ratio of components, g/l: iron chlorine FeCl2⋅4H2O 380–420, hydrochloric acid HCl pH = 0.8–1.0, sulfuric acid H2SO4 1–3.
EFFECT: increasing maximum thickness of smooth coatings.
