FIELD: skates.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to skates and their accessories, specifically to skate covers intended for removable protection of steel blades on skates. To achieve the effect, a cover for steel blades on skates is proposed, containing a plastic support with a rough surface in the lower part and with magnets (2) installed with fixation in the upper part, providing connection of the skate blade (6) with the support, and the support is made with the possibility of tight fit to it along the length of the skate blade (6). What is new is that the case is a support with a U-shaped cross section (1) having a central longitudinal rectangular groove (7) for a skate blade (6). At the same time, holes are made in both walls forming this groove, in which magnets (2) are installed on opposite sides, fixed with a gap in relation to the inner surface of the wall of the longitudinal rectangular groove (7) and closed from the outside by plugs (3). In addition, the cover support contains wedge-shaped grooves (4) designed to repeat the longitudinal shape of the ridge blade, located along its length in the transverse coaxial direction and extending with a wide part to the upper surface of the cover, and in the teeth forming the rough bottom surface of the cover support, communicating with a longitudinal rectangular groove (7) holes (5) for water drainage when ice melts from the surface of the blades. In the case, it is preferable to use neodymium magnets, and different options for the location of the magnets are also possible.

EFFECT: improving the usability of steel blade covers on skates and simplifying the design.
