FIELD: drill string oscillators.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a drill string oscillator. The oscillator for the drill string includes a generator of hydromechanical impulses containing a mandrel, elements for transmitting torque between the generator body and the mandrel, a spring module, a thrust sleeve, an annular piston, a thrust ring, a flow channel with a bypass channel cross-section control facility. A controlled valve block, a communication module, a hydrogenerator and an electronic module are connected in series to the generator of hydromechanical impulses. The means for regulating the cross section of the bypass channel is a movable valve element interacting with each other and a seat installed in it. The movable valve element and the seat contain eccentrically located holes communicating with each other and with the flow channel. The holes are made with the possibility of changing the flow section of the flow channel when they are displaced relative to each other and across the vertical axis of symmetry of the oscillator. The holes change the flow area of ​​the flow channel by controlled angular movement of the movable valve element and the seat using separate servo drives. The servos are connected to the electronic unit. The electronic unit is controlled by a communication module. The power supply of the servo drives, the electronic unit and the communication module is made from a hydrogenerator, which converts the energy of the drilling fluid flow passing through the bypass channel into electrical energy.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the oscillator, reducing the friction of the drill string against the borehole walls, increasing the drilling speed.
