FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used in equipment for the production of granules and briquettes. The press consists of a body with a screw placed in it and a pressing unit. The pressing unit comprises a casing connected with the screw body and a die in the form of a ball with through holes. The ball diameter is equal to the inner diameter of the outlet part of the casing. The holes are located in mutually perpendicular planes of the central sections of the die and have different diameters in these sections. The installation of the die in the outlet part of the casing is carried out by means of hinges formed by a kinematic connection between the cylindrical spikes-protrusions rigidly connected to the die and the longitudinal grooves in the outlet part of the casing. As a result, it is possible to rotate the die by 90° relative to the vertical axis in order to change the type of product.
EFFECT: use of the invention will increase the technological flexibility of the press.
