FIELD: communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for determination of a state of a network device. Using a prevention analysis device, a set of fragments of target data of a key performance indicator (hereinafter – KPI) of the network device within set duration is received. Using the prevention analysis device, the set of fragments of target KPI data is processed based on a set of fragments of sign information for generation of an element corresponding to each element of sign information, wherein each fragment of sign information is used for representation of a method for calculation of an element in a vector of signs, corresponding to sign information. Using the prevention analysis device, a vector of signs is formed, using generated elements corresponding to the set of fragments of sign information. Using the prevention analysis device, the vector of signs is analyzed based on a prevention analysis model, and a state of the network device is determined.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of determination of a state of a network device.
