FIELD: spent nuclear fuel reprocessing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of spent nuclear fuel (SNF) reprocessing technology, namely to equipment in the technological process of extraction mixtures (EM) regeneration based on hydrocarbon diluents. The installation for the regeneration of radiation-degraded extraction mixtures consists of a vacuum regeneration chamber with a jacket with a heat carrier. An inlet stop valve is installed at the inlet of the regeneration vacuum chamber, and the inlets and outlets of the jacket are connected to a thermostat that provides heat supply to the jacket through the coolant. The first outlet of the regeneration vacuum chamber is connected to the outlet valves, one of the outlets of which is connected to the inlet of the inlet valves. The second outlet of the vacuum regeneration chamber is connected through a cryo-trap to a vacuum pump.
EFFECT: invention allows to simplify the design and allow to separate the volatile fraction from the extraction mixture under safe conditions with a minimum amount of secondary waste, thereby increasing the flash point of the mixture.
