FIELD: electrochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrochemistry, namely to the extraction of noble metals and the base metal from electronic parts containing a coating consisting of a layer containing noble metals, under which there is a nickel-containing intermediate layer, and under the nickel-containing intermediate layer there is a copper-containing layer or a copper-containing base metal. Electrochemical treatment of said parts is carried out, placed in an anode basket, lowered into a sulfuric acid medium with a concentration of 695-1760 g/l of the electrolysis bath, a cathode made of inert materials is used and physical separation is carried out. At the same time, the nickel-containing layer and electronic parts containing copper as the base metal or coating are cleaned of plastics and organic contaminants. Voltage is applied to the anode and cathode from an external source with a minimum excess voltage of 0.23 V. The electrolysis is carried out until the current is reduced to zero. The base metal remaining in the anode basket is removed, and the resulting sludge containing precious metals is physically separated from the sulfuric acid medium.
EFFECT: method allows the use of parts without grinding, as well as maintaining the solid state of both the coating containing noble metals and the carrier from the base metal.
