FIELD: cutting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of processing various solid non-ore materials, in particular, for sawing stone by diamond wire. Stone sawing machine includes a unibody iron frame carriage equipped with mechanically driven wheels for moving on rails. Herewith, a single pulley secured on a slide and covered by a closed diamond wire, as well as an internal combustion engine driving the pulley, are installed on the frame. The mechanical drive of the frame carriage includes a rotary steering wheel configured to transfer the torque force to the wheels of the frame carriage through a reduction gearbox connected with the driving axle of the wheels of the frame carriage via a chain drive.
EFFECT: improved yield characteristics of facing materials, ease of repair and maintenance of the apparatus in operation, and possibility of sawing blocks of different sizes and configurations without transporting the blocks to the stone-cutting workshop.
