SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to stone processing technology and can be used for cutting and processing of samples of rocks, mainly ornamental stones, marble tiles and other types of non-metallic materials. Method of accelerated cutting of stone on a stone cutting machine is characterized by the fact that a stone workpiece is exposed to a diamond disc to which self-vibration-rotary movement is imparted by its installation in a bushing-eccentric fitted on the shaft of the rotation engine of the diamond disc. Semiautomatic rock cutting machine for accelerated stone cutting comprises a table, a liquid placed under the tank table, which is cooling the diamond disc installed on the rotation motor shaft, a vice for fixing the workpiece, equipped with a device for its installation and movement into the cutting zone, wherein diamond disc is fitted on rotation motor shaft with eccentric bush fitted on engine shaft.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of stone cutting operations and stone cutting machine.
