FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to individual mining equipment for use in workings of coal mines and at other industrial facilities, and is intended for illuminating the workplace of the miner, notifying personnel of the mine of accidents, inform the miner of the results of environmental aerogas control, search for the miner under debris, or call a dispatcher to control the production processes. Mining cap light comprises a body consisting of a base and a transparent cover, a connecting cable, and a belt assembly with a power supply unit. The body contains LED sources of dim and high beam light, a video recording camera configured to record the received image. The transparent cover of the body has a non-transparent embedded ring; the base of the body has a hole with a support cylinder connecting with the non-transparent embedded ring of the transparent cover and matching said ring. The lens of the video recording camera is located in the hole of the base of the body and in the non-transparent embedded ring of the transparent cover.
EFFECT: structural simplification and higher reliability of the light.
