FIELD: heat-resistant coatings.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new heat-resistant coatings of fiber light guides based on organically soluble aromatic copolyamideimides and a method for their manufacture, including drawing the light guide out of the workpiece, pulling it through a spinneret containing a solution of polyamideimide with a solution mass concentration of 17-20% in a solvent, and removing the solvent by heating.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to produce fiber light guide coatings characterized by high thermal stability, good mechanical properties, and satisfactory adhesion to the fiber.
