FIELD: purification systems.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to filtering materials for liquid or gas purification, which can be used in liquid purification systems, for example, water from various sources, ventilation or air purification systems, or for the manufacture of personal and collective protective equipment, and to personal protective equipment made on the basis of filtering materials. The filter material for liquid or gas purification consists of at least two layers that the liquid or gas passes through sequentially. The first coarse-filtering layer is made on the basis of non-woven fibrous material, and the second thin-filtering layer is made on the basis of filter paper and/or filter cardboard. The first layer is hydrophobic with a more rough surface, and the second layer is hydrophilic with increased absorption capacity. The first coarse-filtering layer contains particles from 2 to 500 microns in size, preferably from 5 to 200 microns, of at least one type of sorbent, held in the structure of a non-woven fibrous material. The second thin-filtering layer is a composite material, up to 50% consisting of cellulose fibers with a fiber length from 0.5 to 3 mm, a diameter from 5 to 30 microns, preferably from 5 to 25 microns. The personal protective equipment is made in the form of a helmet consisting of a body made of predominantly transparent polymer material with holes for air entry and exit, a collar made of elastic polymer material. It contains at least one means of air circulation. The air inlet and outlet openings are equipped with filters made of the declared filter material. The input filter is directed to the environment by the first coarse-filtering layer of the filter material, and the output filter is directed by the second fine-filtering layer of the filter material.
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to develop a new filter material and personal protective equipment based on it for liquid and gas purification, which have a high efficiency of impurity absorption and at the same time a long service life.
