FIELD: wind power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: generator contains a stator including a magnetic wire, an annular magnet, as well as a rotor containing a shaft, a hub, excitation sources, a rim, and modules containing, in turn, excitation sources, as well as mounting elements. At the same time, each module contains a pipe segment of a rectangular profile, connected with one side to the rim through a non-magnetic gasket, and excitation sources with profiled pole tips, coming into a magnetic contact through a gap with magnetic wires of the stator, are attached to pipe sides adjacent relatively to an attachment point.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of equipment, simplification of a structure, and increase in the efficiency of a generator.
