SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to contact medical gel containing in its composition water-soluble polymer, a preservative, a solvent, an electroconductive component, water, differing in that the gel composition includes pumice as an abrasive component in the amount of 3-7% of particles in a volume unit, while a particle size of the abrasive component is 247-646 mcm, and water-soluble polymer is selected from sodium acrylate, sodium acrylodimethyltaurate, or their copolymer.

EFFECT: present invention provides for the reduction in the skin resistance due to its degreasing and delicate cleansing of keratinized skin particles, which allows for the improvement of quality of electroencephalogram and electrocardiogram recording due to reduction in a number of artefacts and elimination of high impedance (resistance) artefacts.
