FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a composition for creating a contact medium containing a neutral or pre-neutralised water-soluble polymer, a complexing agent, and a preservative, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: water-soluble polymer 50.0 to 96.0, complexing agent 2.0 to 5.0, preservative 2.0 to 5.0, and also relates to a method for creating the contact medium, wherein the composition is mixed with water and incubated while periodically stirring for 4 to 24 hours.
EFFECT: group of inventions ensures the creation of a lightweight, easily stored and transported dry composition, which can be used to create a universal contact medium that is electrically conductive and able to conduct acoustic waves and electromagnetic oscillations necessary in hardware diagnostics, therapy, and cosmetology; wherein said contact medium provides secure and safe contact between the skin and the apparatus capable of generating and/or perceiving acoustic waves, electromagnetic oscillations, and/or current.
