SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric power industry. The autotransformer protection relay contains a housing with a cover, divided into three parts. A rigidly fixed frame is installed in the housing, on which magnetically controlled contact groups of the upper and lower parts of the housing are fixedly fixed. Each of the magnetically controlled groups is closed by a magnet mounted on a lever in the upper or lower parts of the housing. These levers are fixed on the bracket, and the floats mounted on the levers are movable. In the middle part of the housing, a damper with a magnet is mounted on a hinge, and a permanent magnet is installed on the rod fixed to the housing cover, fixing the damper. The damper magnet is configured to act on a group of magnetically controlled contacts fixed to the frame in the middle part of the body.

EFFECT: exclusion of the possibility of skew and jamming of the float and provision of the possibility of remote monitoring.
