FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to methods for frequency control in power systems. The effect is achieved by the fact that the frequency control method includes an electric energy storage system (EESS), in which a load power signal is applied to the input of the adder and to the input of the smoothed power calculation unit, at the output of the adder, a frequency deviation signal is received, which is processed in the proportional component calculation unit and in the differential component calculation block, at the output of the calculation block, a proportional component signal is received, determined by the frequency deviation, at the output of the calculation block, a differential component signal is received, determined by the rate of change of frequency, the signals are fed to the input of the adder, at the output of which a power signal is obtained, determined by the regulator according to frequency deviation, which is the sum of the proportional and differential components, the power signal determined by the controller by the disturbance, and the power signal determined by the controller by the frequency deviation, are processed in the signal generation unit that controls power converter as part of EESS.
EFFECT: reduction of frequency deviations in an autonomous power system.
