SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mining engineering and can be used in the construction of mining machines. Mining roadheader contains running gear, conveyor, arrow-shaped executive body with cutting head and frame fixed on executive body with elements of temporary support. Said frame is made with the possibility of extension in the direction of the face and contains hinged telescopic levers with hydraulic rotation cylinders. Said elements of temporary support are made in the form of an element of expansion into the roof of the working, pivotally connected to the retractable parts of the telescopic levers. The body of each telescopic lever is connected to the element of thrust into the roof of the working by means of a hydraulic cylinder. Said thrust element into the roof of the working includes a hinged shield mounted with the possibility of rotation parallel to the chest of the face by means of a hydraulic cylinder, the rod of which is connected directly to the shield, and the cylinder is directly connected to the element of the thrust into the roof of the working.
