FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation, in particular, to the design of the cargo area of an airship. Design of the cargo area of an airship includes a hull shell with the carrier gas and a keel boom, tail fins, a power unit, a suspended nacelle, loading tools, points of attachment of cargo to the airship, and cargo securing means. Said airship is configured to steer to the load from above, and rails are attached on the lower surface of the airship hull to the power nodes of the keel boom, equipped with electric telphers capable of moving along the rails to the required position, controlled by the operator. The telphers herein are capable, when the released length of the cables of said telphers is sufficient, of engaging the cable hooks with the hoisting points of the cargo, and of pulling the hovering airship towards the cargo up to the stops on the lower surface of the airship wherein the position of the cargo is additionally maintained by the securing means thereof.
EFFECT: proposed design of the cargo area of an airship allows eliminating labour-intensive operations for adjusting the relative position of the cargo and the airship in the process of receiving and delivering cargo; reducing the number of technical personnel involved in loading and unloading; eliminating the need for powerful ground hoisting equipment; raising the autonomy of use of the cargo airship; and significantly reducing the weight of the structure due to the absence of a separate cargo cabin with a heavy reinforced floor.
