FIELD: target detection stations.

SUBSTANCE: simulator for preparing combat crews of the target detection station (TDS) contains automated places for the instructor and operator, a hardware-software complex for simulating input signals and interference, consisting of a receiving unit connected to a two-channel simulator, including an electronic computer (ECM) with interface nodes with radar and ground radar interrogator and related software. The software contains an external database consisting of a map input module, a module for preparing maps and meteorological conditions, an information exchange module, and a real-time module. The simulator contains a noise protection device, a control and information processing device based on an on-board computer with a combat program included in the software that is used during the operation of the TDS combat product, communication equipment connected to the switch. The automated workplace of the instructor is made with the ability to work both in the mode of autonomous training of the TDS crew, and in the mode of integrated training of the TDS combat crew as part of the medium-range air defense system. The operator's automated workplace includes: a graphic information manipulator and a keyboard connected to the onboard computer via an information input channel, a video monitor for displaying the air situation and test control, a video monitor for displaying the technical condition of all devices connected to the onboard computer via information display channels.
