FIELD: industrial ventilation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of industrial ventilation. The air flow control device includes a four-walled box-shaped housing, a drive, blades made of a steel profile forming a separate housing and installed in a four-walled box-shaped housing with the possibility of rotation relative to it, and a heating element. In this case, each blade contains a heating element inside, the power supply to which is provided by means of a brush mechanism. The axis of attachment of the blade is a hollow part, inside which there are current-carrying elements, isolated from each other and from the hollow part of the axis by a dielectric gasket. When the blade rotates, the current-carrying elements together with the heating element are rotatable relative to the four-walled box-shaped body.
EFFECT: improving the safety of the device by reducing the likelihood of damage to the heating cable, as well as reducing aerodynamic drag.
