FIELD: special-purpose structures.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to special-purpose structures, namely to tents with a tension awning, in particular to modular tents, and can be used in sports mountain hikes and winter expeditions in difficult weather conditions, sports climbing, high-altitude mountaineering, during search and rescue operations. A three-section tent for high-altitude ascents and winter expeditions consists of a central module - a connector tent in the shape of a geodesic dome and two additional - tent-type tents made on a high-strength frame and representing two-layer tents, the outer awning and windproof skirts of which are made of fabric with polyurethane coated, and the inner tent is made of breathable fabric. The connector tent is made in the form of a geodesic dome with four arcs and has two side entrances and exits, two vestibules and four ventilation holes, and additional tent-type tents are made on the basis of a frame with six arcs united at the top with a washer, have two ventilation holes and two entrances/exits, the first of which is connected to one of the vestibules of the connector tent, and the second, made in the form of a tube, serves as an additional exit; fastening system includes hooks on the connector tent and reciprocal loops on additional tents.

EFFECT: proposed design has increased comfort and reliability when working in difficult weather conditions in the temperature range from +40°С to -50°С with wind up to 30 m/s and heavy snowfall, is reliable in operation and has the ability to use tents both together and separately without loss of functionality, providing prompt installation/dismantling of the entire system.
