TRANSFERRABLE SUMMER TENT Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: tourist equipment. SUBSTANCE: transferable summer tent has roof with two slopping surfaces, vertical lateral and face walls, tent tension members, water-proof floor, external skeleton of metal tubular sections located in face pockets of the tent. Straight intersectional cylindrical rods/insertions with projections located in their central parts are used to join tubular sections of the skeleton. Roof ridge joints of the skeleton are made in the form of plane monolithic metallic three-tips with cylindrical rods/insertions screwed in their ends. Ridge three-tips are connected to one another through lengthwise ridge sectional tubular strut. Skeleton sections on sides are joint using insertions made in the form of plane angular metallic brackets of high bending strength, with cylindrical support rods screwed on their ends. Joints of tubular skeleton sections to one another as well as to monolithic three-tips and to side plane angular brackets/insertions have slots and projections on ends and bodies of pieces to be join. The pieces block axial rotation of skeleton sections. Side vertical sections of the skeleton are rigidly connected with their lower support ends to spine-like stakes fixed in ground. Tent is longwise with reinforcing belts. There is tambour in front of the tent with double-wing face wall. The tent is fixed on ridge strut and extended using tension members.
