FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine building. A method for improving the environmental performance of a diesel engine, consisting of a power system, including a fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel filters, a fuel supply system, an intake manifold, combustion chambers, consists in pre-mixing rapeseed oil, ethyl alcohol and ethers until a single mixture is obtained and serving by means of a dual fuel supply system, diesel fuel or a single mixture of diesel fuel, rapeseed oil, ethyl alcohol and esters is supplied to the intake pipeline separately or together with diesel fuel, as well as to the combustion chambers of a diesel engine.
EFFECT: improving the environmental performance of a diesel engine.
