FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: vibration meter refers to information and measurement equipment and can be used in alarm control instruments for measuring vibration acceleration. The technical result if provided by separating the functions of measuring the root mean square and peak vibration values on channels with different amplification but a single maintained signal bandwidth and by introducing automatic or manual adjustment of the amplification coefficient in the root mean square channel. The vibration meter comprises a vibration converter; a parallel RC circuit; a first operational amplifier; a first and a second resistive voltage dividers; a second operational amplifier; a first, a second, and a third condensers; a first and a second resistors; a first, a second, and a third diodes; a circuit of anti-parallel diodes; a first and a second integrating RC circuits; a two-threshold unipolar voltage comparator; a peak detector; an analogue key; a maximum voltage isolation circuit; and a control bus.

EFFECT: expanded dynamic range for measuring the root mean square and peak vibration values.
