FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment using optical fiber, to fiber-optic security detectors. A signaling method using an end fiber-optic sensor (EFS) of a fiber-optic security detector is proposed, in which a sounding pulse is supplied from a reflectometer of the fiber-optic security detector to a sensitive part of the sensor, wherein the sensor is an end fiber-optic sensor containing a case with a pusher providing change in a position of at least one ring of optical fiber of the sensitive part and the sensitive part made of a splitter, outputs of which are closed between each other by at least one optical fiber twisted in a ring, and together they form a closed loop, wherein the mentioned ring is connected to the mentioned pusher and the mentioned case by means of rods, which, together with the ring, are extended inside a corresponding shrinkable tube, when changing a position of the pusher, the absence of a signal is registered.

EFFECT: simplification of a structure of a sensor, simplification of a process of the manufacture of the sensor, provision of continuous diagnostics of serviceability of its state and an optical line, and implementation by the invention of its purpose.
