FIELD: cutting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipe cutting equipment and can be used for cutting high-pressure pipes for internal combustion engines. Cutting machine includes a frame, a cutting tool with a drive, a spindle head with a chuck, a stop for setting the length of the part to be cut, a caliper, a device for locating and fixing the workpiece, a cutting tool feed drive for cutting the part from the workpiece, and a caliper with a cutter. The spindle head is mounted on a frame without the possibility of axial movement. The device for basing and fixing the workpiece is made in the form of a lunette device. An electric drive is used as a drive for feeding a cutting tool for cutting off a workpiece and a support with a fixed cutter. The electric drive is made in the form of an electric motor, a gearbox, a crank mechanism. The crank mechanism consists of a crank with a variable radius and a connecting rod of variable length, adjustable in length of the link with an elastic compensator.
EFFECT: simplification of the design of the cutting machine, reduction of power consumption, possibility of coordinated processing of the workpiece with two tools, regardless of its diameter.
