A linear part for a fiber-optic security detector contains a hardware delay line, which is an optical delay line for the fiber-optic security detector, made by means of connection into an optical circuit of reserve cores of a fiber-optic cable.

EFFECT: simplification of a mounting process and increase in a mounting speed, as well as increase in the general operational reliability of a fiber-optic security detector, in particular, due to elimination of weakly protected compensation coils from its composition, which are necessary for compensation of the length of fibers of a sensitive element; implementation by the invention of its purpose.
