SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for obtaining access to a patient's medical documents located in a cloud storage. The method establishes communication session via a network using a network interface between the computer of medical personnel and a server computer connected to the patient's cloud storage with his medical documents; an automatically generated visual code is received from the server computer to the computer of medical personnel via a communication session; a communication session is established via a network between the patient's smartphone and the server computer and an authorization of the patient's smartphone is performed on the server computer; an automatically generated visual code is sent from the computer of the medical staff to the patient's smartphone for entry into the cloud storage, or an automatically generated visual code is recognized on the graphical interface of the computer of the medical staff using a patient's smartphone; a signal about reading the automatically generated visual code from the patient's smartphone is transmitted to the server computer; the data of the automatically generated visual code are compared on the server computer with the data received from the patient's smartphone; if the compared data match, the access to the patient's medical documents is opened on the server computer to the computer of the medical staff, otherwise access is not provided.
