FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for use of technological waste in preparation of polymer compositions. The method is used in creation of technologies of preparation of compositions based on a polymer matrix consisting of copolymer of propylene and ethylene with addition of synthetic thermostable low-molecular rubber in amount of 0.5-1.0% relatively to the weight of copolymer of propylene and ethylene, which are together polymer raw materials, and a filler in the form of metal powder, which is powder of any metal, a density of which is in the range from 11.3 g/cm3 to 19.3 g/cm3, and in manufacture of parts of these compositions. The method includes preparation of technological waste in the form of a mechanical mixture, in which the amount of the filler is determined, after which a number of first mixed components is calculated; prepared waste together with first mixed components are extruded, granulated, and polymer compositions – technological waste – up to 50.0 wt.%, first mixed components – the rest – are obtained, wherein, in the resulting polymer compositions, the filler consisting of first mixed powder of specific metal and powder of the same material in the composition of used technological waste is present in amount of 40.0-85.0 wt.%, and the polymer matrix consisting of first mixed polymer raw materials, which amounts to not less than 50 wt.% in the weight of the polymer matrix of the resulting polymer composition, and recycled polymer raw materials in the composition of used technological waste is the rest.
EFFECT: method solves the problem of using generated waste, reduces time and costs for preparation of a filler for reuse, allows for use of recycled polymer raw materials multiple times, provides constancy of technologies of the manufacture of parts of polymer compositions obtained from first mixed components and polymer compositions containing waste, full reproduction of physical and mechanical characteristics in parts made of polymer compositions containing waste.
