SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of electronic cigarettes. Apparatus for controlling the heating of a ceramic heater in a contact-free electronic cigarette heater, wherein the ceramic heater comprises a heating body and a heating circuit, wherein the heating body is cylindrical, and a porous channel is located in the heating body. The heating circuit is located on the heating body in order to heat the air passing through the porous channel. The apparatus for controlling heating comprises a time counting module, a current detection module, and a voltage control module. The voltage control module herein is intended for controlling the heating circuit using a first operating voltage to heat when the contact-free electronic cigarette heater is activated. The time counting module is intended for calculating the duration of operation of the heating circuit when the contact-free electronic cigarette heater is activated. The current detection module is intended for determining the operating current of the heating circuit.

EFFECT: ensured uniform and efficient heating of the smoking article.
