FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for creation of a protected border, using a fiber-optic security detector. A protected perimeter is created by laying a linear part of the fiber-optic security detector into the ground. For laying V-shaped plough is used, made with the possibility of fixation on it of an unwinding device and installation of a reel with a fiber-optic cable. During laying the fiber-optic cable into the ground, water is supplied to a cable input channel. Upon completion of laying, V-shaped plough is lifted, thereby releasing the cable. After that, the cable is rammed with a cable layer, using the own weight of the cable layer.

EFFECT: acceleration of a process of mounting of a sensitive element of a fiber-optic security detector, as well as increase in its sensitivity and provision of uniformity of its sensitivity.
