FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary microbiology, in particular, to laboratory diagnostics of pathogens of infectious diseases, namely, to means of diagnosing infection in animals using polymerase chain reaction. Proposed is a test system for identifying the DNA of a Cryptosporidiosis pathogen in biological material of animals, in water from water bodies and in feeds using real-time polymerase chain reaction. The test system includes a buffer for the polymerase chain reaction, a mixture therefor consisting of deoxynucleoside triphosphates, oligonucleotide primers and fluorescent probes specific to the section of animal genome and the internal control sample; a mixture of enzymes from polymerase DNA with antibodies inhibiting the enzyme activity, TAQ POLYMERASE, an internal control sample in the form of a suspension of bacteriophage T4 at a concentration of 5×103 phage particles per 1 mcl, a negative control sample constituting a mixture of recombinant plasmid DNAs containing a fragment of the animal genome and a fragment of genome of the bacteriophage T4; for the positive control sample, a fragment of the genome of the Cryptosporidiosis pathogen with a specific nucleotide sequence is used; for the DNA of the Cryptosporidiosis pathogen, a fluorescent dye — JOE(HEX)/Yellow is used.

EFFECT: test system expands the functional capabilities and increases the accuracy of identifying the Cryptosporidiosis pathogen.
