FIELD: road construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of road construction and can be used to improve the quality and durability of road embankments. A method for constructing road embankments on waterlogged and permafrost grounds includes laying a drainage layer of the embankment, made in the form of a flooring made of low-quality wood and logging residues. The drainage layer is made of logging waste packages covered with geotextile material, and the packages are laid in one or two layers perpendicular to the direction of the road embankment.
EFFECT: increasing the operational properties of the road embankment, improving the water regime of the road, lowering the level of groundwater, preventing the melting of permafrost, ensuring the removal of external precipitation by filtering through packages of logging residues and increasing the strength of the road structure due to uniform distribution of the load when the packages of logging residues and geotextiles work together , in which these packages are placed, reducing the complexity and cost of work due to the mechanized laying of pre-prepared packages of logging waste.
