SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to the automation of electrical networks. In the proposed method for seasonal power supply backup, the first, second and third groups of time intervals are set and counted, during which it is necessary to backup the power supply of the first, second or third group of consumers from the backup power supply source when the main power supply is turned off, control the shutdown of the main power supply, when the of the main power supply at the moment when the countdown of one of the first, second or third groups of time intervals is turned on, a signal is given to select and connect the corresponding group of consumers to the backup power supply, when the main power supply is turned on again, a signal is given to switch the corresponding group from the backup source of power supply to the main.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of power supply to consumers in the presence of a shortage of capacity of a backup source of power supply.
