FIELD: seismic studies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for recording ground vibrations generated by seismic waves from natural and artificial sources (earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, explosions, man-made disasters, etc.). Essence: the device contains a pendulum seismometer, the induction coil (1) of which is rigidly attached to the pendulum and connected to a circuit with a frame (2) of a mirror galvanometer. To register the electric current generated in the circuit when the induction coil (1) of the seismometer is placed in a uniform magnetic field and the pendulum moves, a laser (5), a focusing lens (3) and a line (4) of photosensitive elements are introduced into the device. Moreover, the radiation generated by the laser (5) and focused by the lens (3) is reflected from the galvanometer mirror and falls on the line (4) of photosensitive elements, after which it is digitized and fed to the computer.
EFFECT: increased resolution of the seismograph, the ability to function in any brightness and in real time.
