FIELD: nuclear industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the nuclear industry, namely to devices for controlling the structure of nuclear fuel pellets for fuel elements (fuel rods), and can be used to control the density of nuclear fuel pellets. The installation contains a unit for loading products, a unit for measuring the volume of products, a unit for measuring the mass of products and a unit for unloading products, installed in series. The product loading unit contains an input accumulator and a gate, upon opening of which the product enters the volume measurement unit. The unit for measuring the volume of products contains a pressure difference transducer with two cavities, one of which is connected to the measuring chamber, into which the controlled product is loaded, the other is connected to the exemplary chamber, in which the sample of the product is constantly located. Each chamber is equipped with a valve that opens and closes the entrance to the cavity of the pressure difference transducer. The unit for measuring the mass of products contains a weighing device with a platform for receiving products. The unit for unloading products contains a device for ejecting products and an output accumulator into which weighed products are unloaded.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to automate the control of the density of cylindrical products with the mode of automatic density calculation and transfer of measurement results to a database.
