FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in instrumentation in devices for counting time intervals during various events and procedures, such as sports events, physiotherapy procedures, when playing chess, etc. Essence: the device contains a transparent housing 1, inside which two containers 2 are located symmetrically with respect to each other and with an inclination at angles α and -α with respect to the horizontal plane 3, where α=5-45°. The containers are connected to each other through a jumper 4 with a calibrated channel for moving the working substance 5. On the inclined walls 7 of containers 2, there are cells made in the form of vertical wells 8 for receiving a fixed amount of working substance, and these wells in each container are arranged linearly with a constant step h. On the transparent side walls 9 of the housing 1, for each container 2, a scale 10 with numbers corresponding to the values (in conventional units) of the time intervals for the complete and sequential filling of each well 8 with the working substance 5 is applied in the direction of the location of the wells 8. For each container 2, time marks 11 are applied vertically opposite each well 8 in the form of strokes corresponding to time micro-intervals when each well 8 is currently filled with working substance 5. Fine-grained calibrated material, such as fine-grained sand or fine-grained diamond powder, as well as a liquid, such as distilled water, or alcohol, or an alcohol solution, can be used as a working substance 5.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of visual reference and fixation of intermediate time intervals in an extended range.
