FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely, to an energy storage device, namely, to an ultra-capacitor, in which a seal is used between the casing and the electrode terminal. The effect is achieved due to the fact that the energy storage device containing the housing for accommodating the electrolyte, the electrode element located inside the housing, the casing connected to one side of the casing, and the electrode lead inserted into the casing so as to be electrically connected to the electrode element, when this case contains a main element having a through hole into which the electrode lead is inserted, while the device contains a seal associated with the main element and located in the gap between the main element and the electrode lead in the through hole to come into close contact with the electrode lead, thereby sealing the gap between the base element and the electrode terminal. The seal can be molded from an elastically deformable material such as rubber, epoxy resin, polyimide resin, bismaleimide-triazine (BT), epoxy molding sand (EMS), and can also be bonded to the base element by injection molding, and can also be overlaid. onto the base element and cure to bond to the base element.
EFFECT: reducing the amount of electrolyte leakage.
