FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: yield mapping system is characterized by that it contains at least one sensor of operating parameters of an agricultural machine for recording machine parameters and at least one yield sensor for recording parameters of the yield harvested and/or processed by the agricultural machine during field works, and a computing device connected to the operating parameter sensor and to the yield sensor, as well as sensors of a level of grain yield in a hopper, at the extreme lower point of the hopper and at the extreme upper point of the hopper, connected to the computing device equipped with a program allowing for determination of the amount of grain yield in the hopper by readings of grain level sensors. In this case, the system informs an operator about complete devastation of the hopper by lower sensor readings and about complete filling of the hopper – by upper sensor readings, while, when receiving a signal from the lower sensor of the level of grain in the hopper, the value of the amount of grain in the hopper, calculated by the system, is reset, and calculation of grain yield in the hopper is started again from a zero value. At the same time, the computing device is programmed in such a way that, when receiving a signal from the upper sensor of the level of grain yield in the hopper, the system compares the current calculated value of the amount of grain yield in the hopper with the amount of grain yield, which was in the full hopper during the calibration of the system, while, if the resulting difference exceeds the accuracy of the system, then the system informs the operator of the agricultural machine about the need for its maintenance.

EFFECT: invention allows for a possibility of automatic assessment of the accuracy of operation of a system with informing an operator of an agricultural machine about the need for its maintenance in case if the current accuracy of operation of the system is worse than the set one, and informing the operator about the current level of yield in a hopper, its complete filling and/or devastation.
